You are both the person&nbsp;being evaluated&nbsp;and the evaluator.&nbsp;You know the other person is occupying the same dual role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes it difficult not to perform. How did my ratings affect&nbsp;subsequent&nbsp;matches?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The efficiency made each date feel&nbsp;lower-stakes, which was both liberating and oddly depersonalizing.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #4c9f87\" class=\"sme-text-color\">What Bachelor Date Reveals About Gamified Romance&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every dating app&nbsp;contains&nbsp;systems of visibility&nbsp;and ranking.&nbsp;Bachelor&nbsp;Date simply makes those systems more obvious, and&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;fascinating to&nbsp;see how quickly people&nbsp;adapt to&nbsp;this.&nbsp;Once people understand that certain behaviors may influence their future matches, the experience can shift from \u201cmeeting someone\u201d to \u201cperforming well within the system.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m&nbsp;not saying that the app is bad. A game to master.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe this&nbsp;is what happens when dating is fully systematized.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bachelor Date&nbsp;remains&nbsp;one of Japan\u2019s more intriguing experiments in applying AI, efficiency culture, and gamification to human connection.
